For funded startups

You raised. The product works. You are still the only one selling it.

Five to thirty people, seed to Series A, and the founder still runs sales. This is the sales operation you put in before the first sales hire.

Our approach

Helix puts the sales operation in before the first sales hire.

Workflow first, AI second. We map how a lead moves through your company before anything is built, then build only the pieces that pay for themselves. Every action drafts behind your approval from day one, and we report against your pipeline numbers, not our slides.

First module live in two weeks. System-run over the quarter.

Layer 01 · Diagnose

The problem

You raised. The operation around the product was never built.

You have tried the obvious fixes. None of them removed the bottleneck.

01

Follow-up is you remembering

Leads go quiet during build weeks. Nothing chases them, because the only follow-up system is the founder’s memory.

02

The pipeline is a spreadsheet

The board asks for the number, and answering it takes a day of stitching together a sheet, an inbox and a calendar.

03

The first sales hire lands in nothing

Hiring before the system exists means paying someone to rebuild the founder’s memory from scratch, in a blank CRM.

04

Nobody mapped the work first

The automation went in where it was easy, not where it paid. The steps that cost the most are still done by hand between builds.

05

Nobody can see where the hours go

The hours are real and the dropped leads are real, but neither is counted, so there is no baseline to show the board.

The problem is not your team. It is the work nobody wrote down. That is what we map. That is what we build.

We are not the 200-slide roadmap, the AI tool that never stuck, the sales hire made too early into a blank CRM, or the AI SDR that blasts your list. Workflow first, AI second.

How we work with you

A system in your tools, not a deck in your inbox.

The build lands where the work already happens, on terms your board can read.

Your tools. Your approval queue. Your numbers.

  • Every action drafts behind your approval until that action type earns autonomy on a low override rate
  • Built on Claude, Slack, Cal.com and your existing CRM and mail layer
  • The baseline is set the day the diagnostic is paid
  • Nothing to migrate. We plug in where the work already happens

Credited in full. Scope fixed in writing.

  • The $2,500 diagnostic credits in full to the build
  • Scope and price are fixed in writing before any build starts
  • Full refund if the readout maps under $10K of recoverable value
  • Documented handover: you own the system and the code

The engagement

Three steps, and what lands in each.

In that order, with the terms shown at every step.

Step 01 · Diagnose · 72 hours

We find where AI pays for itself.

One 90-minute recorded session with the founder and whoever touches a lead. Three days later you get the readout: what to build, in what order, and what each piece is worth.

The 72-Hour Diagnostic

  • The 90-minute recorded session
  • The map of how a lead moves through the company
  • The three things to build first, each priced
  • The number behind each, in hours handed off and leads no longer dropped
  • Two or three working proof-of-concepts on dummy data, each with a price tag, so you choose between things you can click, not slides
  • The readout in three days
  • You keep the map either way

Track A · default

The 90-minute session

Readout in 72 hours. This is what most funded startups at this size need.

Track B

15 to 50 staff

A kickoff, then four to six interviews across the teams that touch a lead, then the readout in five to eight days. Priced at kickoff.

Step 02 · Build · from two weeks

The modules, highest payback first.

Every module is built in your tools and priced in the readout, then shipped one at a time, highest payback first.

What we build

What gets built

  • Intake. Every enquiry answered and qualified inside the first ninety minutes.
  • Follow-up. The ladder that runs while the founder is in a build week.
  • Pipeline. One board the whole team can read.
  • Win-back. Leads contacted once and dropped, re-worked.
  • Investor update. Drafted from the numbers, not a day of the founder’s time.
  • Proposal drafting. Drafted against the map, not from a blank page.

How it is built

  • In your tools: your CRM, inbox, calendar, billing and data
  • Every action drafts behind human approval from day one
  • Proof of concept first, then production
  • First module live in about two weeks, then one module at a time, highest payback first
  • Each module priced in the readout

What you own

  • The system
  • The code
  • The documented handover

Step 03 · Run · monthly

We run it with you, and hand it over.

The system stays live, watched and tuned. New modules land as the company grows, and the handover is written from day one.

The build is the small part. Getting the team to actually use it is the rest, and that is what Run is for.

How the run works

  • Monitoring and tuning
  • New modules as the company grows
  • Usage checked at weeks 2, 4 and 8
  • Every action is checked against its real result before it counts
  • Quarterly re-diagnosis
  • Documented handover: you own the system and the code
Works inside the tools you already run. Nothing new for your team to learn.

leads at a music school that had been contacted once and then dropped

  • Follow-up and win-back modules work that list now.

Fit

Who this is for.

For you

  • Your board asked for an AI plan and nobody knows where to start
  • You raised three to twelve months ago
  • Five to thirty people, and the founder still runs sales
  • No account executive or SDR in the seat yet
  • You are not an AI-native company; AI is not the product you sell
  • You want pipeline moving while the team keeps building

Not for you

  • You want AI inside your product. We build the operation around it.
  • You already have a sales team running a system that works.
  • You want a deck. We build and run the system.

FAQ

The procurement questions.

What happens in 72 hours?
One 90-minute recorded session with the founder and whoever touches a lead. Three days later you get the readout: the map of how work moves, the three things to build first, each one priced, and the number behind each. It costs $2,500, credited in full to the build, and you keep the map either way. If the readout does not map at least $10K of recoverable value in the business, you get a full refund.
Where does our data live?
In your own accounts. The system is plain files in your storage, and agents work inside the tools you already run, on logins you control. Access is revocable in one click, and every action is logged so you can see what was done and why.
Who owns the IP?
You do. You own the system and the code we write for you. Nothing is licensed back to you and nothing is rented from a platform we control.
What happens if we stop working with you?
The exit is designed in. The handover is documented and you keep the files, the dashboards, the runbooks and the logs. There is no migration to do, because everything already runs in your stack.
